 Jamaica Journey 2009 is a PrimeTime Ministry Work & Witness adventure designed to not be labor intensive so adults 50+ years old can participate. In previous PrimeTime W&W mission adventures we have had over 25 adults 70+ and one lady 80 years old. If you are interested in participating one of these trips, contact us or apply online. We will continue to work to lower the cost of the Jamaica Journey 2009, however at this time we must keep the cost at $1,950.00 per person. This includes: air fare, most meals (meals not included during travel & touring), insurance, housing, project money ($350.00), devotional book, commemorative shirt, ground transportation on island, and office and administrative expenses. We have estimated some expenses a little high to be sure they are covered. As we establish the actual cost, we will reduce the total cost by the same amount. Some districts and local churches are going to pay the project cost for PrimeTimers from their church or district who participate in our Jamaica Journey 2009. Maybe your church and/or district will help with some fundraisers to offset this cost for you.
We will establish a monthly payment schedule to help with the cost of this trip. A registration application and fee of $300.00 USD, per person, will be due March 10, 2008. Eight monthly payments of $200.00 per person will begin in April 10 and a final payment of $50.00 which will allow you to be paid in full in November 10, 2008 . This schedule will permit us to have the funds available for various reservation fees and purchases we will need to make months before the trips actually take place. We will create a schedule as to when certain expenses will need to be paid and the amounts. All funds must be received by EMD PrimeTime Ministries by November 10, 2008.
